Champions League Semis;Manchester City Fought Back like a Lion to Beat PSG in Paris


Manchester City proved themselves in Paris as a force to reckon with and as one of the  European superpower in football by coming down from a goal down to beat French Giant PSG 2:1 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions league.

Skipper Marquinos headed home for the home side from Angel di Maria superb corner kick to take the lead at half time. But Kevin de bruyne equalised for the visitors after the break to make it 1:1.

Algerian international Riyad Mahrez later put the visitors ahead with a crucial goal following his superb free kick which went through the home side poor wall and beyond keylon Na as who could do nothing to stop the ball entering the net.

The home aide were reduced to 10 men after Senegalese international Gueye was given a red card 13 minutes from time following a dangerous challenge on Gundogan.

The win has put the English giant in a pole position towards the return leg at the Etihad stadium next Tuesday.
